Jan Berger is a visual artist based in London and Frankfurt, Germany. He received a BFA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and an MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London. In his practice he investigates the formation of cultural mythologies within online spaces and their production of subjectivities. He is the founder and curator of the Mythical Institution, a Minecraft project space and art school.
